I do walk when I'm mentally worn out. So I went to Hiroshima Station and walked back home without any particular purpose. This activity reached 10,000 steps.
I consider the importance of two measures as follows.
1. Sort out the current situation within my deep subconscious.
- It's important to dedicate enough time to a meditative state.
- Walking is the best activity, I think. And it also provides moderate exercise. Meditation at home is not a bad option either. But it's relatively difficult because it gets interrupted by various things like SNS, phone calls, and housework.
- When walking, you don't need to think about anything except walking and following traffic rules, so it helps you focus on meditation.
2. Sleep (rest for the mind and body)
- Sleep is important for maintaining a healthy mind and for secreting brain chemicals that helps eliminate worries and concerns.
- It's important to sleep with a low heart rate and to avoid a high heart rate caused by drinking or being full.
- Since diseases like depression is result from a malfunction in brain chemical secretion, maintaining sufficient and deep sleep should be a high priority.
I'll force myself to sleep every day, whether I'm sleepy or not.
